At 600 meters from our hotel in Las Ramblas in Barcelona, walking through the streets of the Gothic quarter, is the Palau de la Música Catalana, a music auditorium located on Sant Pere més Alt Street, in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona.
It is another of the modernist buildings that must be visited in Barcelona. The project was carried out by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, an architect considered one of the greatest representatives of Catalan modernism, between 1905 and 1908. Important orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Berlin, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and musicians such as Pau Casals, Enric Granados or Albert Schweitzer among many others. It is advisable, if you want to visit the building, to go on foot crossing the streets of the historic center of Barcelona. On the other side of Vía Laietana the auditorium awaits you.
